The week was spent on the final part of the Hunter's Journal(as well as finishing up the 3D printer case). The 3D printer was basically already finished by the start of the week, I just needed to add the back wall I cut out last week. After some spray paint and final re-glues, the Printer case was done. I did some final tests in both the machine homing and some printing test, and the 3D printer seems to be working great with the case. So, that project's done and I just have to take it home.

As for the Hunter's Journal, I finally got the leather needed for the Journal part of the Hunter's Journal last week and bought it in this week. The leather wasn't from a bag like I expected but from a leather purse that my Grandma didn't need nor use anymore. I had to spend some time just figuring out how to cut the purse into a flat-ish piece of leather. The different pockets and zippers didn't help the problem. I eventually figured it out and the week was spent mostly just cutting the bag into the right size. Even now I have to fix some of the cuts but at least it's the right size to fit the cardboard covers I cut on the laser-cutter.

After I got the leather to a size I'm happy with, I glued the first set of covers onto the leather. I need to have two sets of cardboard covers due to where the covers need to sit are a bit far from the base of the leather. I also 3D printed the pocket where the Hunter's Device is going to sit. The Device is a bit thicker then the CAD model due to OLEDs and PCB's thickness, so I had to make and re-print the pocket a bit taller for it to be able to hold the Device. I tested the Device to make sure it worked before gluing everything together, and it doesn't work anymore! I need to figure out why it's not working and I have a inking that it's the soldering on the PCB. It's fine though, I planned on re-making the PCB to hold a Breadboard Arduino instead of the Metro Mini anyway. I want to get the cover all glued together by the end of the week and leave to re-making of the PCB for next week.
