Week 9/9-9/13

Hello again! This week, I worked on many things. Starting with Monday, I mostly worked on a prop axe that I started last week. It was mostly just fixing the blades, because they were moving when the handle wasn't. I spray-painted the blades a grey color while I plan to add foam to the handle. While Tuesday was mostly spent organizing the supply closet and putting away some new things the Shop got.

The latter half of the week, I was working on adding a new stand for my controller holder; a double controller stand. I got the CAD model and prototype done Wednesday. The wooden pieces that hold the two sides of the Stand together wouldn't fit and even after trying to sand the ends down, just wouldn't work; so I had to think of another way to make the pieces. I tried acrylic, that didn't work; it was too thin. I decided to just 3D print them, the print wasn't finish by the time school was ending Thursday; so Friday I have to test the piece and hope they fit.
