This Week was a pretty simple week. I finished up the CAD model for the Jewelry Box Monday and got a test print done. That's when I realized that the dimensions I had the model at was Tiny. Like super small size, even though it was 5in wide. I had to manually change the sizes in InkScape and The Laser-cut preview. I tried to fix the dimensions in the CAD model but that just broke the entire thing, So, I had to spend basically all of Tuesday remaking the CAD model.

(Fixed CAD model)

After I remade the model, I test-cut the new measurements; which they were actually the right size. I cut out the final pieces in wood and glued them all together Wednesday. The Jewelry uses door hinges to open and close the covers, I went to Carpentry to see if they had any spare door hinges and they unfortunately didn't have any spares nor any that were around 1 inch. I got the covers printed out but I couldn't add them to the final Box yet. I plan on just ordering some 1 inch door hinges from Amazon over the weekend and adding them at home.

(Current final Box)
