This week was spent mostly trying different new projects. At the start of the week, I took over an old project from a past student of the shop. A chess board where the board lights up where the chess pieces are. I wired a new power supply to try to make it work; the Arduino board(I don't know what the thing's called) turn on but nothing happened. Even with Mr.Christy's help, we couldn't figure out what was wrong and I didn't know what to work the board. Mr.Christy told me he would talk to the student who made the chess board so he would known how it worked. I couldn't do anything else, so I shelved the project. After some projects started and failed, I landed on making a prop from a book I've read.

The photo above is what I'm basing the prop off of. The Staff I'm making was descried as a wooden nature-based one. Now, I can't make it completely out of wood but I can make it look like it is. The hardest part so far, was making the curve at the top of the staff. I'm made it out of plastic pipes I've cut. I just taped the pipe pieces together into the shape of the top. There isn't much done so far, but I plan on at least getting the staff into the shape that I want by the end of the week.
