Hello Y'all! This week was a very short week as we had both Monday and Tuesday. I was able to finally finish the Lazy Susan for my sister, the gift is only a month late. This was really the only thing I was working on for the two work days we had, as I now have ti figure out my next project. Without further ado, let's dive into this very short week!

Coming back on Wednesday I had an idea on how I can fix the Susan. The containers and the pillar didn't really fit into the platform and I really didn't want to re-print all of the containers by getting ride of the sliders on the CAD model. (I originally planned to attached the containers with the type of lock-in sliders found on drawers and such). Since the sliders didn't allow the containers to sit flush with the middle pillar, I decide to just sand them out inside of going through the whole resin print process again. Sanding down the sliders and fixing the rest of the Susan pieces with sanding took all of Wednesday. Before the end of Wednesday; I found out that if I sand down the corner that touched the outside of the platform, it allowed the container to easily slide off and on the platform without any hassle.

I was only able to get two out the four containers so walking in Thursday, I finished

sanding down the rest of the containers. I had to quickly 3d-print one of the stands as one of them just disappeared, which that didn't take long, only 14 minutes. I glued everything together and spray-painted most of the resin printed parts white. I'm going to paint it at my own house as we don't have the colors I need hear(we honesty don't have much colored spray-paint). The spinner part just fixed itself as there's enough space between the middle pillar and the hole in the center of the platform that you could just spin it without much else needed. Everything that I can do for the Susan in shop is done, everything else just needs to be done elsewhere. I now have to figure out what I'm doing next, which is fantastic.
